Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Manager. This role primarily involves liaising with tenants, providing customer support, and coordinating with our internal team and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role offers a base pay plus commissions on tenant satisfaction and resolution outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicate with tenants in both English and Chinese (typing and speaking fluently required).
  • Coordinate with the operations team, landlords, and vendors for maintenance and property-related issues.
  • Track and follow up on ongoing requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with tenant onboarding and check-out processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant communication, maintenance requests, and property updates.
  • Provide regular updates to management on tenant issues and resolutions.
  • (Optional) Perform light handywork tasks (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, minor fittings). $50 extra per task handled.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Prior experience in customer support, property management, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with property or coliving management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to commit to 4-6 hours per week, including occasional weekends when needed.
  • Willingness to visit properties when required (transport costs reimbursed).
