We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an Intern in the Consumer Business Insights & Analytics (CBIA) team in the Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT) region to design, build and scale AI powered analytics solutions. The Intern will work with the CBIA team in SEAT to deliver tools for automated insights delivery and deeper ad-hoc analysis using conversational agents that enables business users to ask questions in natural language and receive instant actionable insights from market data.

Preferred School/Course of Intern: Postgraduate in data analytics / Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to:

• Build AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio that help marketeers answer their day-to-day business questions in natural language and integrate it to Microsoft Teams
• Design conversational topics, entities and flows to capture inputs and return results
• Translate outputs into clear business friendly insights with tables, charts and one-line takeaways.
• Lead the end-to-end process by collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

Learning Outcomes

Throughout the course of the internship, you will attain the following learning objectives:

• Build and deploy agents integrated to Microsoft teams, strengthen coding capabilites in Python/R/SQL for applied analytics.
• Work on real business problems: Your AI agents will directly support business teams across SEAT
• Gain a deep understanding of consumer insights and competitor analytics in a business context
• Build capability in story telling with data converting numbers into concise, actionable insights for business.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and presenting solutions to senior stakeholders.

Why You?

We are looking for someone with the following skills and competencies:

Business Skills and Competencies

• Educational background – Master's degree in Data Analytics / Computer Science or related field
• Programming background:
  - Prior experience in Python, R, SQL
  - Familiar with Power BI (data models, DAX, measures and reports)
  - Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, APIs or equivalent)
  - Interest in conversational AI
  - Exposure to LLM concepts and conversational AI (Azure Open AI, chatbot development) preferred and understanding how to ground gen AI response in structured data

Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
• Curious to learn new tools and experiment with AI driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
