Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions for ACMV (Air-conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) works.
- Evaluate and measure quantities from engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Prepare and verify progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Source, negotiate and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project cost, budget and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with project team, engineers and site supervisors to ensure works are carried out according to contracts and budget.
- Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Attend site meetings and resolve any cost-related issues with project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of QS experience in ACMV / M&E construction projects in Singapore.
- Proficient in measurement, cost control and budgeting of ACMV works.
- Able to read and interpret M&E/ACMV drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment.
