We are NOT:

  • A logistics company
  • A freight forwarder
  • A shipping line
  • A transport or trucking company

Candidates whose experience is purely in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping coordination, or customs clearance only will not be suitable for this role.

JOB SCOPE – IMPORT / EXPORT ADMIN (OFFICE-BASED)

This role supports the day-to-day operations of an import/export trading company, working closely with the operations team and overseas suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, checking, and maintaining export documents, including:
  • Proforma Invoices
  • Commercial Invoices
  • Packing Lists
  • Internal tracking files
  • Following up with China suppliers on:
  • Order confirmations
  • Production updates
  • Packaging and document details
  • Organising and filing QC photos, videos, and product information
  • Updating Excel trackers for orders, production status, and shipments
  • Supporting senior staff with daily follow-ups and coordination
  • Ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and consistent before submission

This role is focused on documentation accuracy, supplier coordination, and administrative follow-ups, not physical shipment handling.

THIS ROLE DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • Booking vessels or trucks
  • Liaising with ports or terminals
  • Customs clearance processing
  • Warehouse or site-based operations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in import/export, trading, sourcing, or manufacturing admin
  • Ability to read and type Mandarin for communication with China suppliers
  • Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Word skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Comfortable handling multiple follow-ups and routine admin tasks
  • Good at Multi-Tasking
  • Clear communication

  • Freight forwarding roles
  • Logistics coordinators (shipping / trucking only)
  • Port, warehouse, or customs-only roles

SALARY & WORKING HOURS

  • Salary: SGD 3,000 – 3,500 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

(Lunch break: 1–2 hours)

  • Saturday Morning only: Work from home (Laptop provided)
