Position Summary

A clinical and application-oriented Global Product Manager responsible for driving product strategy as part of the global product marketing team. This includes concept development, business growth post-launch, cost optimization, and lifecycle management through cross-functional collaboration to achieve both short- and long-term business objectives. The role emphasizes strong collaboration with DMT-Asia South and North sales and marketing at an intercompany level. Additionally, it involves close engagement with distributors and urologists at a customer level. Success in this position requires not only and clinical background and excellent teamwork but also a sales-oriented mindset and strong business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the clinical strategies that will support Dornier's product development, marketing, and commercialization objectives
  • Responsible for clinical trials, including protocol development, discussions with relevant stakeholders (clinical partners, regulatory agencies, etc.) and ensuring timelines and budgets are respected
  • Identifying and collaborating closely with key Urologists
  • Be primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with KOL customers, including on-site visits
  • Performs clinical and application activities and trainings, both internally and externally as needed
  • Actively participate with cross functional team including engineering, regulatory, sourcing, service, production and selling entities to manage entire product line life cycle and maintain customer satisfaction and business objectives
  • Give direction on tactical downstream clinical marketing materials to support product commercialization in collaboration with DMT-Asia sales and Marketing and Global Marketing Communications
  • Develop and conduct product-related trainings for Dornier staff and customers
  • Understands and ensures compliance with medical regulatory standards, policies, and procedures at the national and international levels
  • Supports Regulatory Affairs in designing regulatory strategies for medical devices
  • Monitoring of published literature and clinical studies for Dornier and competitor products in all relevant indications for strategic purposes and for use in regulatory submissions, while maintaining the database

Job Requirements

1. Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

2. Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in product management
  • Medical equipment experience is mandatory
  • Experience in (Urology) Laser business is a plus
  • Keen to take on interesting challenges with limited resources
  • Able to adapt to diverse work environment
  • Independent and takes ownership

4. Operational Skills

  • Good organizational and operational with experience in multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% and take on short overseas assignments on an as needed basis
