Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Facultative Reinsurance Team Leader (1 year contract)  

We will count on you to:

  • Lead teams in Singapore and India covering technical accounting and claims.

  • Analyze client challenges using data insights.

  • Work with Client Support Services (CSS) team to review and setup complex contracts in system.

  • Prepare materials and participate in strategic meetings.

  • Develop processes to resolve operational issues and maintain standards and ensure CSS team operates within procedures and professional standards to achieve all processing SLAs.

  • Work with key brokers to on developing processes to meet client servicing requirements for complex accounts.

  • Manage team performance, development plans, and training.

  • Facilitate training sessions for all CSS colleagues as applicable to support, and guidance to less experienced Colleagues and help develop department resources.

  • Approve leadership reports and present technical information/ metrics to key stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Implement quality assurance and stay updated on regulations.

  • Take on strategic projects as required.

What you need to have:

  • More than 10 years of reinsurance experience. Prior experience in Facultative Reinsurance is highly desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills including Excel and Power Automate.

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
