The Company

Our client, an investment firm, is looking to hire a Senior Finance Associate to join their expanding finance team. This is a newly created role due to continued growth.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities

  • Support month-end closing activities and the upkeep of the general ledger.
  • Ensure the precise and timely preparation of monthly financial reports, such as reconciliations, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Examine accounting data to offer valuable financial insights and projections.
  • Prepare, record, and post journal entries; handle invoice processing, and follow up on payments and collections.
  • Assist with the Group consolidation process and support financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate closures.
  • Work alongside auditors by providing essential financial and compliance documentation for regulatory, external, and internal audits.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of GST returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to Singapore's Accounting Standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementations
Your Profile

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with CA/ACCA certification. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Candidates from Big 4 audit firms being highly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in IFRS and a solid understanding of accounting processes are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is also crucial.
