Job Scope

  1. ICT Lessons for Students

  2. Will conduct ICT/EdTech courses for secondary school students over 35 weeks during curriculum time and some selected modular courses outside curriculum time and during School Holidays.

  3. The computer courses will cover the ICT skills on ChromeOS, Windows, MacOS, iOS and iPadOS platform and other areas include Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Apple Productivity and Photography Tools, Google Workspace, Cyberwellness, Programming and scripting (incl. Scratch, C, C++, Java, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Python, Swift and etc.), Educational Web Tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Blog, Padlet, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator and etc, Student Learning Space (SLS), Microbit, App Inventor, Swift Programming and Ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  4. Prepare scheme of work, lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments and projects for students.
  5. To monitor and evaluate the progress of the projects/assignments.
  6. To collate and document feedback from the students regarding the ICT course at the end of each course
  7. To archive student projects into digital portfolios.
  8. To inform and remind students about ICT curriculum schedule and take remedial action on absentees.
  9. To prepare workshop series for self-directed learning for students.
  10. To monitor and assess students' progression of the digital literacy skills learnt in school.
  11. To conduct workshops as stated below (outside curriculum time during the school holidays if necessary) for students depending on school's needs

  12. To prepare SLS packages to enhance students' digital literacies skills.

  13. ICT and Photography Club

  14. To design training schedule and provide training for the students from the ICT Clubs.

  15. To prepare students for ICT related competitions.
  16. To be proficient in photography and videography skills
  17. To be proficient in programming (incl. Scratch, C, C++, Java, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Python, Swift and etc.)
  18. To provide guidance and structured training to students in terms of photography (covering events) and post-mortem photo editing.

  19. To design and deliver training to students regarding photography and photo basics

  20. Training Courses for Staff

  21. To identify training needs and conduct training courses and workshops for staff. (Educational web tools, SLS, Google Workspace, Apple Productivity Tools, Microsoft Productivity Tools)

  22. To assist teachers in deploying ICT infused lessons and assessment to students
  23. To assist teachers in content creation and design in their lessons.

  24. To propose ICT tools for teaching and learning for staff.

  25. ICT Related Activities

  26. To support teaching and learning in the classroom for the school's PDLP programme for Sec 1 to 4 students.

  27. To provide feedback and input during monthly meeting between School, ICT Committee, ICT Support Team and vendor
  28. To assist the School in ICT related matters

  29. To work together with the ICT Support Team

  30. Maintenance of School Website

  31. Familiar with Isomer platform and any other CMS platforms. (e.g. Joomla, Wordpress, Swiiit, ISOMER)

  32. Knowledge of Web programming in HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL

  33. Add/edit/remove web content on the School's website.

  34. Video Filming and Editing

  35. Proficient in videography and video editing techniques

  36. Film/ video major School events
  37. Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, iMovie, Final Cut Pro for video editing purposes.
