Destination Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Country Finance & Accounting Manager to lead our Finance & Accounting team.

This is a strategic leadership role that goes beyond numbers — we're looking for someone who thrives on building strong teams, driving cross-departmental collaboration, and aligning financial operations with business growth.

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and manage all accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Oversee receivables and payables, ensuring revenue security and risk mitigation.
  • Advise senior management with insights that drive company and group growth.
  • Implement robust financial risk assessment and compliance frameworks.

Operational Excellence

  • Design and execute efficient workflows aligned with group policies.
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline financial data flow.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems like Travel Studio and SAGE.

Team & Culture Building

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, supportive, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Champion cross-departmental training and knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the travel/tourism industry or with a DMC/tour operator is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems (SAGE preferred).
  • Proactive and process-oriented leader who collaborates effectively across departments to ensure alignment with financial procedures and drive operational excellence."
