About the department

Singapore FX desk is a central FX dealing and trading hub for CGS International group and is providing a wide range of trading services and supports to our clients worldwide.

Dealing and Trading team is responsible for providing a variety of trade supports to both internal and external clients for FXcash and derivatives, such as Spot, FX Swaps, Forwards, and NDFs.

Job Responsibilities:

This role is a shift work to cover FX desk for 24H5D

A successful candidate must be a team player and;

  • proactive and self-motivated mindset

  • details minded and logical thinking

Works as a team to manages FX dealing operations

  • pre-EOD data processing

  • post-EOD checks for house accounts/books

  • Intra-day and daily reporting for Risk and PNL

  • troubleshooting

  • ad-hoc dealing related projects

Assigned for OMS supports

  • monitoring trade execution and trade matching for troubleshooting if any

  • understand complexed FX Back-Office and OMSs setups for troubleshooting

  • managing parameters and configurations in OMS, including MT4 accounts

  • maintain and manage UAT environment of OMS

Assists on FX dealing

  • FX rates quotation and execution to internal and external clients

  • trade reconciliation and booking

  • monitor FX exposures for the desk and firm

  • FX Swap coverage for FX rollover

Job Requirement:

  • At least 1 year of relevant FX dealing experience

  • To learn dealing and trading from experienced FX traders and dealers

  • To learn FX products & services and front-to-back workflows of FX systems and business

  • To gain a financial knowledge, micro and macro economics

  • Interests in FX markets, and keen to learn products and business flows

  • Familiar with Order Management Systems

  • Advance Excell formulas and VBA, basic Python preferred

  • CMFAS certificate holder of RES 2A (previously known as 2A) and CM-SIP (previously known as 6A)
