Cranki is a fun yet dedicated patisserie brand specialising in high-quality, French-inspired pastries with a local twist. Everything is made fresh to order, and we're expanding our kitchen team to support growing demand.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commis Chef to support our daily kitchen operations. This is a production-focused role, helping to prepare, bake, and assemble pastries for online orders and wholesale partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily pastry production, from prep to finishing.
  • Support with mise en place: weighing, mixing, baking, and assembly.
  • Portion and pack pastries for delivery and wholesale.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.
  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately to maintain product consistency.
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met.
  • Provide general support in day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Some prior kitchen or pastry experience preferred but not required (training will be provided).
  • Passion for baking and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive, able to work on weekends.
