Accountant (Maternity Cover)

Contract duration: 10-months

Location: International Business Park

Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: UP TO $4100 monthly

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a 10-month maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in statutory audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Audit & Reporting

  • Prepare supporting documents for EY during FY25 audit fieldwork.
  • Draft financial statements, notes to accounts, and impairment assessments.
  • Manage GAAP reconciliations and statutory form submissions.

Tax & Compliance

  • Finalize corporate tax computations and prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI).
  • Handle quarterly withholding tax filings with IRAS.
  • Support Transfer Pricing Adjustments (TPA) and update Onesource Tax reports quarterly.

Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare projections for P&L, balance sheet, and TPA-related items.
  • Analyze major variances against projections and provide commentary.
  • Deliver month-end closing analysis and P&L variance reports (DHQ OCOS).

General Support

  • Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and cross-functional projects as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a commercial or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local statutory requirements and tax legislation.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
