Corporate Strategy Manager

The Courage Chapter is helping our client to look for a Corporate Strategy Manager.
In this role, you will lead market and competitor intelligence, strategic planning, and performance management. In addition, the role may be occasionally required to directly contribute to ad-hoc strategic reviews and assessment of new business opportunities.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
∙ Gather and interpret market data to provide insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour. Use these insights to inform strategic decisions.
∙ Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Strategic Planning
∙ Formulate annual and long-term strategic plans to meet business goals and improve competitive positioning.
∙ Ensure the timely completion and submission of the internal business plan to the Group.
∙ Lead development and communication of key performance indicators to support achievement of business objectives and strategic priorities.
Performance Management
∙ Oversee timely development of business performance reports by collecting business and financial performance data and crafting strategic narratives for the organization and Group reporting purposes.
∙ Proactively identify and address business and organizational problems by independently scoping and conducting research, synthesize findings, and developing strategic improvements along with high-level action plans.
Others
∙ Conduct ad-hoc strategic analysis for executive leadership or the Strategy Committee, focusing on assessment of new business models and opportunities, and strategic reviews.
∙ Create external communication and presentations for senior leadership.
This role is a contract role for 6 months for maternity cover. To start immediately.

∙ Must have a solid quantitative and analytical aptitude
∙ Must be comfortable organising unstructured information and forming reasonable linkages and hypotheses
∙ Possess the ability to broadly think across a range of strategic issues and connect the dots
∙ Has strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact congenially with cross-functional colleagues across different levels
∙ Has strong communication and public presentation skills
∙ More importantly, the successful candidate is a self-starter with the intellectual curiosity to problem-solve as well as the personal discipline/ pride to see through a high-quality of work
Education & Work Experience
∙ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative business subject (Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science) or MBA is preferred
∙ Must possess intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
∙ 8-10 years of generalist strategy or implementation consulting experience is ideal, although not mandatory
∙ Experience working in cross-functional teams
