Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Documentation: Draft and proofread legal correspondence, affidavits, and court filings.
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage discovery documents.
  • Research: Conduct legal and factual research using online databases (e.g., LawNet).
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to collect information and provide case updates (as needed).
  • Court Procedures: Assist with filing documents at Singapore courts and tribunals.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule hearings, prepare trial bundles, and manage billing records.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Language: Fluent English (written/spoken).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), PDF editing tools, and legal research platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple cases, and work collaboratively.
  • Experience: 2 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation.

Working Conditions:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Break Time: 1-hour lunch break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Probation Period: 3 months (if applicable)
