Bank Relations Manager

Position Summary

The Treasury Manager plays a strategic leadership role within Generation Next Communications Pte. Ltd., overseeing the Group's regional treasury operations across Singapore, Bangladesh, and India. This position is responsible for liquidity management, cash forecasting, financial risk mitigation, and maintaining strong treasury governance.

The role serves as the central coordination point between the Group Finance office in Singapore and the finance teams in Bangladesh and India to ensure alignment, effective communication, and consistency in treasury processes across the region.

Key Responsibilities (Reports To: Accounting Head)

1. Strategic Treasury and Liquidity Management

● Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital across multiple markets. ● Lead regional cash forecasting and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and investment needs.

● Partner with senior management to align treasury priorities with overall business strategy.

1. Banking and Financial Relationships

● Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions in all operational markets.

● Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines, and FX arrangements.

● Drive the rollout of centralized treasury tools and digital banking platforms.

1. Risk Management and Compliance

● Monitor and manage currency exposures, interest rate risks, and funding requirements.

● Ensure compliance with treasury-related regulations and statutory requirements in Singapore, Bangladesh, and India.

● Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

1. Regional Coordination and Leadership

● Act as the Group Treasury liaison with finance teams in Bangladesh and India.

● Provide guidance on treasury processes, banking documentation, and compliance requirements.

● Coordinate cross-border cash movements in line with Group policies.

● Lead regular regional treasury review calls and consolidate reporting.

1. Financial Planning and Performance Analysis

● Provide insights into liquidity, working capital, and funding needs to support strategic financial planning.

● Prepare periodic treasury reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

● Partner with FP&A and accounting teams to align treasury data with overall reporting.

1. Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement

● Identify opportunities to enhance automation, efficiency, and oversight within treasury operations.

● Champion treasury best practices across regional entities.

Qualifications and Experience

● Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent finance qualification.

● 8–10 years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience, ideally with regional exposure.

● Strong understanding of banking systems, FX management, and treasury operations in South and Southeast Asia.

● Proven experience leading cross-functional or multi-country treasury initiatives.

● Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Language Requirements

Fluency in Bengali and Hindi/Urdu, in addition to English, is required as the role involves regular communication with finance teams, banking partners, and regulatory stakeholders in Bangladesh and India, where these languages are commonly used for financial and operational coordination.

Pay: $10, $13,000.00 per month
