We are seeking a skilled professional to architect and manage secure, scalable data platforms and pipelines, while also driving impactful business intelligence solutions. This role blends deep technical expertise in data engineering with strong business acumen in analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms using tools like Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Synapse Analytics, or Snowflake.
  • Manage ETL/ELT processes for both structured and semi-structured data to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Enforce data governance, quality, lineage, and security standards.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend modern solutions aligned with business needs.

Business Intelligence

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements, translating them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Design and optimize data models and semantic layers for BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs with a focus on consistency, usability, and performance.
  • Establish and promote best practices for data visualization, storytelling, and report governance.
  • Lead BI project planning, roadmap development, and cross-functional communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
  • Expertise in BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, with a history of delivering high-impact executive dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and quality management principles.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
