About The Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer (Level 1.5 or Level 2) to join the ICT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for Day 1 operations support and project implementation across the client's network infrastructure. This includes working with technologies such as Palo Alto, Check Point, and FortiGate firewalls; Cisco and Alcatel switches; Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM); Cisco and Juniper routers; Cisco/Aruba wireless solutions; F5 network load balancers, and other related network devices. You will play a key role in deploying new network infrastructure, as well as enhancing and optimizing existing systems, while ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network services.

What you'll be doing?

• Network Design: Create tailored LAN/WLAN solutions, conduct RF site surveys, and develop network topologies to meet business needs.
• Implementation: Lead network migrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime during critical outages.
• Security Deployment: Deploy and maintain LAN/WLAN and security solutions, providing comprehensive documentation and support.
• Firewall Management: Configure and maintain Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, implementing robust security policies.
• Switch and Router Management: Optimize Cisco switches and routers, ensuring peak performance and seamless connectivity.
• Access Control: Administer Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager for user authentication and access control.
• Wireless Network Optimization: Deploy and tune Wi-Fi networks, optimizing coverage and reliability.
• Load Balancer Configuration: Set up F5 LTM with SSL Proxy, VIP, and iRule configurations.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Create detailed network documentation and work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Automation: Leverage automation skills to enhance project task efficiency.

Who are they looking for?

• Network Expertise: Candidates with at least 4 years of network support experience and a bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Certifications: Valid CCNA certification is a must, with CCNP and PCNSE or equivalent preferred.
• Firewall Proficiency: Experience managing Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortigate firewalls.
• Cisco Skills: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.
• Access Control Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager or similar systems.
• Routing Protocols: Proficiency in OSPF and BGP configuration.
• Wireless Standards: Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi standards a/b/g/n/ac/ax). Hands-on experience with Ekahau, AirMagnet will be advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Additional Skills: Experience in Advanced Network on Network Automation and ACI Infrastructure deployment and Hybrid Network transition from on-premise networks to cloud

Other Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Office Location: Kallang Pl, Singapore must be flexible for different working projects site)
• Salary: $7500 - $9000
