Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge automation solutions that transform warehouse and manufacturing environments? We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a dynamic team in Singapore, where you will play a key role in developing tailored intralogistics solutions that integrate advanced automation technologies, such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), conveyors, and more.

About the Role:

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design of comprehensive, customer-focused automation systems. You'll combine technical expertise with customer-centric design to create integrated systems that enhance operational efficiencies. This is not just about selling products; it's about developing the right, end-to-end solutions for our clients, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Solutions : Tailor end-to-end solutions by integrating advanced automation systems such as AGVs with third-party technologies (e.g., racking, conveyors, AMRs).
• Lead Discovery Workshops : Facilitate technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their operational needs and workflows.
• Optimize Customer Operations : Propose optimal automation setups by evaluating customers' current systems, challenges, and workflows.
• Create System Architecture : Design system layouts, data flows, and integration frameworks that align with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Vendors : Identify and liaise with third-party vendors to ensure smooth system integration and delivery of solutions.
• Support Sales and Proposals : Assist the sales team with technical proposals, cost estimations, and presentations to customers.
• Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with product development, software teams, and engineering for seamless solution implementation.
• Stay Updated on Technologies : Keep abreast of emerging trends in automation, robotics, AI, IoT, and machine learning to inform and enhance solution design.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Min. 5 years of experience in solution design, systems integration, or automation consulting, ideally within intralogistics or warehouse automation.
• In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including racking, conveyors, mobile robots, WMS/WCS, and more.
• Proficiency in system design : Expertise in automation layout planning, material flow design, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with integration technologies : Understanding of industrial communication protocols, APIs, and inter-software platform integration.
• Strong communication skills : Ability to present and explain complex technical concepts clearly to both internal teams and customers.
• Stakeholder management : Experience managing and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and third-party vendors.

Technical Skills:

• Cloud Platforms : Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge : Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Emerging Technologies : Familiarity with AI, IoT, and machine learning in an automation context.
• Networking & Security : Experience with networking and IT security management.
• Automation Systems : Practical experience with AGV/AMR systems, PLCs, SCADA, or ROS.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Logistics or Manufacturing Background : Experience with warehouse automation or manufacturing systems is a plus.
• CAD/Planning Tools : Familiarity with layout planning tools such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Large-Scale Projects : Exposure to large-scale automation rollouts or retrofit projects is a bonus.
