  1. Design Development:

  2. Create comprehensive whole-home custom furniture solutions including kitchens, wardrobes, wall units, entertainment systems, and integrated storage solutions.

  3. Develop detailed space planning, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, CAP 2020).

  4. Optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturing feasibility.

  5. Client Collaboration:

  6. Lead client consultations to understand lifestyle needs, spatial constraints, and design preferences.

  7. Present customized design proposals and material/finish selections through mood boards and virtual walkthroughs.

  8. Technical Execution:

  9. Generate precise production-ready drawings (BOM, cutting lists, assembly diagrams) aligned with factory standards.

  10. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.

  11. Project Management:

  12. Oversee projects from concept to installation, resolving on-site design and fit issues.

  13. Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.

  14. Industry Innovation:

  15. Research emerging trends in materials, hardware, and smart home integration for whole-home systems.


Key Requirements:

  1. Experience:

  2. Minimum 3 years in custom furniture design with a proven portfolio in whole-home solutions (residential required; commercial is a plus).

  3. Demonstrated expertise in custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, and space optimization for varied room types.

  4. Technical Skills:

  5. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and 3D visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, VRay).

  6. In-depth knowledge of material properties (wood, laminates, hardware) and manufacturing processes (CNC, joinery).

  7. Design Competencies:

  8. Strong ability to balance ergonomic functionality, aesthetic appeal, and technical constraints.

  9. Expertise in modular storage systems and multifunctional space design.

  10. Soft Skills:

  11. Client-facing excellence: translating abstract needs into practical designs.

  12. Problem-solving agility for on-site adaptations.

  13. Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams (sales, production, installation).

  14. Qualifications:

  15. Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Architecture, or Industrial Design.

  16. Certification in cabinet design (e.g., NKBA) preferred.

  • Experience with parametric design tools (e.g., Grasshopper).

  • Knowledge of sustainable materials and lean manufacturing.
