Job Title: AML Due Diligence Officer

Are you detail-oriented with strong research capabilities? Do you have a keen sense of when things are not as they seem?

We are looking for an AML Due Diligence Officer to:

  1. Perform and report on AML onboarding and ongoing due diligence reviews of new and existing private banking/wealth management clients, as well as ad-hoc reviews.
  2. Identify red flags and escalate suspicious activities when necessary.
  3. Provide advice regarding due diligence, KYC standards, internal policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  4. Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits.
  5. Implement changes in AML regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  6. Stay updated on regulatory developments in money laundering and terrorist financing prevention.
Your Team

You will work in the Compliance & Operational Risk Control, Global Wealth Management Due Diligence Office & PEP team in Singapore. Our team comprises Due Diligence Officers and the Periodic KYC team, acting as gatekeepers against money laundering, corruption, and terrorism financing. As an AML Due Diligence Officer, you will review and approve new account openings and handle escalations during the client lifecycle.

Your Expertise
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in banking or related fields.
  • Approximately 6 years of relevant experience in private banking due diligence, compliance, controls, or audit.
  • Experience with wealth management onboarding and ongoing due diligence.
  • Practical knowledge of AML/CFT laws and guidelines in Singapore.
  • Organized, adaptable, with a positive attitude.
  • Effective communicator for report writing and advisory roles.
