Solutions Architect – Public Sector

Location: ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee, Singapore

What you will be working on

  • Develop mid- and long-term IT architectural strategies to support evolving business needs and digital transformation master plans.
  • Plan, build, and maintain enterprise-wide Application Architecture (AA) and Technical Architecture (TA), ensuring compliance with government directives, while managing technology adoption, standardization, and obsolescence.
  • Define and establish the technical architecture framework for all IT-related projects, providing technical leadership, reviews, and guidance on issues that arise.
  • Lead the technical design and development of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership across operational and infrastructural systems.
  • Analyse business strategies and deliver insights from a technical perspective, recommending solutions that align with and enhance desired business outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • 3–5 years of relevant technical experience, with at least 2 years in designing and implementing enterprise solutions.
  • Proficiency across multiple IT technologies, standards, and languages—especially web technologies, web services, Java, and .Net.
  • Exposure to solution or data architecture is a plus.
  • Experience in designing systems on low-code platforms is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Strong technical expertise with an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Preferably knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Google Certified Cloud Architect will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability, quick to pick up new skills and domains.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail when required.
