Job Requirement

  • Prepare milling machines for operation by installing and adjusting cutting tools, securing workpieces, and configuring machine settings based on job specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate milling machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and shaping parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools and ensure they are properly maintained and replaced when worn.
  • Conduct inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Follow quality control procedures to ensure all parts produced meet or exceed quality standards. Record and report any deviations from quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on milling machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to keep them in good working condition.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor issues with machines and tools. Report major issues to maintenance personnel for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine setups, tool changes, production runs, and inspections.

Job requirement

  • Min. ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Engineering related courses or any equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in conventional milling operations, typically 1 - 3 years.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated to work independently with team support & minima guidance.
  • Preferably specializing in Manufacturing/Production operation management or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all time.
  • Comfortable to work at West area, Joo Koon.
