Job Description:

·       Review and updating Process/Marine Boundary drawings.

·       Prepare Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Procedure in accordance with scope of work.

·       Co-ordinate and manage pre-commissioning / commissioning activities together with commissioning technician and provide them technical support.

·       Co-ordination with discipline engineers, vendors and client to solve integration issue.

·       Coordinate with manufacturers/suppliers for client approval of commissioning procedures, i.e. FAT and SAT.

·       Ensure all commissioning related work for the facilities are in accordance with project specification and making sure they are maintained in order to safeguard technical integrity.

·       Hand-on execution in pre-commissioning and commissioning of process systems (Liquid & Gas Hydrocarbon, Utilities & export gas systems). Preparing the hydrocarbon lines for the first oil readiness.

· Lead pre-comm for all the utility systems (N2, air, stream, fresh water , cooling medium & chemical injection etc.).

·       Write up report for pre-commissioning status, defect report, outstanding items delivery, and check sheet overview monitoring progress, site technical queries, red line drawing and close-up report.

·       Liaison with any vendor, suppliers, consultant, sub-contractors and staff engaged in the project in handling all activities including procedural write-up and documentation submission in accordance with QA/QC, Safety, Commissioning and Project Procedure.

·       Line walks for system completion checks

Preparing, monitoring and assist in Punch list



Critical Success Factor for the Job Role:

Needs to have hand on execution in commissioning the process modules (Separation, Compressors, GTU, GDU, Flare, N2 generators   & Utilities)



Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum as Bachelor of Process /Production Engineering or Equivalent qualification with more than 15 to 20 years of construction & commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas projects.



Technical Competencies & Skills:

  • Hands on experience in startup, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of Process system (Gas / Liquid hydrocarbon modules, Compressors, metering skids and other utility modules)
  •  
  • Lead all flushing / cleanliness check of the piping & equipment.
  •  
  • Responsible for the system handover to operations and performance test activities.
