Job Description:

You will be expected to conduct building energy simulations, from conceptual stage to design and operating stage, in accordance with local and international energy standards. The process includes drawing up a 3D model, including any façade and shading features, review and input active energy systems such as lightings and air-conditioning systems. You will be required to study and extract relevant details from technical specifications, review and discuss with engineers, and input into the simulation model to obtain the required savings.

In addition, you will be required to provide and present advisories on energy efficient designs and optimization strategies, to project stakeholders (architects, engineers, building owners etc.). Clear delivery of results, findings and/or any calculations using graphical diagrams and report writing will be essential.

Requirements:

  • Singaporeans only
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy and Environment or equivalent
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ability to read drawings, elevation plans, sectional plans are required
  • Experience with energy modelling software (IESVE, EnergyPlus, E20 or equivalent)
  • Competence in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is a must
  • Experience in related fields will be an advantage
  • Must possess soft skills in presentation
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently
  • Team player and willing to help each other
  • Strong independent learning capabilities
