Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous translator to provide accurate and confidential translation services between English and Chinese. This role is critical for supporting our global communication channels and requires a high degree of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute precise and faithful direct translation, ensuring zero omission or alteration of meaning.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and neutrality in all tasks.
  • Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Perform consistently with high quality during scheduled operating hours.

Contract & Compensation

  • Engagement Type: Temporary Independent Contractor (3-month term)
  • Extension: Subject to performance review and business needs
  • Location: Remote (Successful applicant must be legally eligible to work in and reside in Singapore)
  • Schedule: 8-hour night shifts, scheduled between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM SGT. Must be available to work weekends.
  • Remuneration: $19.00 SGD per hour. This is a fixed rate inclusive of a remote work stipend.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven professional experience in translation.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Exceptional grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills in both languages.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
