Our Client
Our client, a leading international education group and holding company of premium schools, is seeking a Marketing Manager to bridge strategic direction with effective on-the-ground execution. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role leads in-school marketing initiatives that enhance brand experience for students, parents, and staff, while driving campaigns across digital, media, and community channels. The Marketing Manager will oversee campaign implementation, manage vendors, and mentor junior team members, ensuring marketing strategies deliver measurable impact — strengthening brand reputation, increasing visibility, and supporting student enrolment growth
Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy, Budget & Reporting
- Support the Head of Marketing in planning and rolling out campaigns.
- Manage vendor negotiations, requisitions, and expenditure records.
- Oversee agencies to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to standard.
- Report ROI, engagement, and campaign performance quarterly and annually.
2. Media & Public Relations
- Liaise with media partners and monitor press coverage.
- Develop story angles for public relations, newsletters, and digital platforms.
- Align public relations and media activities with quarterly school priorities.
- Draft content for approval by the Head of Marketing.
3. Branding & Collateral Development
- Ensure branding guidelines are consistently applied across all touchpoints.
- Manage the design and production of marketing and event collateral (e.g., roll-up stands, flyers, newsletters, festive greetings).
- Deliver collateral on a quarterly cycle and oversee stock across teams.
4. Relationship Building
- Research and recommend tradeshows, expos, and education fairs for participation.
- Develop initiatives such as webinars, referral programmes, and brand ambassador activities to drive positive engagement.
- Support marketing-led events and ensure partnerships align with brand positioning.
- Gather parent/community feedback and present insights to senior leadership.
5. Content Marketing & Multimedia
- Plan and deliver one professional filming/photoshoot per term.
- Maintain a multimedia content bank for long-term use.
- Refresh website content quarterly with updated stories, images, and messaging.
- Draft stage-specific campaign messaging for approval.
6. Event Support
- Provide photo and video coverage of school events.
- Produce highlight reels and curated photo sets.
- Manage live social media coverage during key events.
- Archive event assets to build long-term storytelling resources.
7. Digital & Social Media
- Develop and manage the monthly social media calendar.
- Coordinate with academic stage leads to ensure steady content flow.
- Integrate admissions-related campaigns into digital strategy.
- Oversee day-to-day posting, while the Head of Marketing sets long-term direction.
8. Communication Templates & Tools
- Review and improve newsletters, parent updates, and student highlights.
- Develop and update creative templates for events, festive greetings, and campaigns.
- Ensure design consistency and professional standards.
9. Third-Party Contracts & Evaluation
- Negotiate and manage vendor/agency contracts with clear deliverables.
- Maintain accurate contract records and monitor timelines.
- Conduct quarterly audits of ads, campaigns, and website activity.
10. Education Portals, Listings & Fairs
- Maintain quarterly engagement with top education portals and listings.
- Review, update, and expand listings for accuracy and visibility.
- Research and recommend education fairs and expos.
- Coordinate participation and ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
11. Coordination with Other Departments and Initiatives
- Work with different departments to support activities that allow for marketing the school and enhance the value proposition.
- Work with different departments to ensure adequate marketing collateral and material are made available to support the various initiatives to promote school enrolments and parent engagement activities.
12. Inventory & Stock-Keeping
- Conduct monthly stock checks of branded materials and collateral.
- Maintain strict stock records and release processes.
- Organise replenishment of promotional items (e.g., goodies, banners, stickers).
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Proven track record in delivering integrated digital and offline campaigns.
