Telephone Operator

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide efficient telephone services by answering calls promptly and in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Receive, acknowledge and relay all incoming calls on the switchboard and telephone in the department to the parties concerned in a fast, accurate and courteous manner.
- Input the wake-up calls requested into the system and ensure that it is prompt executed.
- Check and record incoming faxes and distribute to respective departments concerned.
- Assist guests and staff on general/other inquiries related to hotel.
- Keep data and records for all calls.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Possess at least a GCE 'N' / 'O' Level or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in related field.
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Willing to take on a three (3) rotating shifts jobs.
- Preferably able to communicate English, Mandarin and local dialects such as Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew to attend to hotel guests from China, Taiwan and Asia Pacific countries.
