Job Responsibilities- Work in Rehabilitation Department, to assist Therapist to provide Physiotherapy / Occupational / Speech therapy services to improve patients' quality of life.
- Assist Therapist in transferring, lifting and wheeling patients within organization.
- Assist Head of Department to coordinate clinical education program and activities for therapy assistants.
- Conduct and lead group exercises independently.
- Assist Therapy Aide in-charge in conducting clinical audits.
- Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Therapy Aide.
- Orientate the volunteers attached to Rehab department.
- To perform outcome measure assessment as guided by Therapists.
- To report all accidents or potential hazards to the reporting officer.
- Responsible for housekeeping, maintaining and cleaning of therapy equipment.
- Skills certificate in 'Therapy Assistant / Aide course' from a recognized institution.
- At least with GCE 'O' or 'N' level certificate.
- Working in a geriatric set up, long term care or nursing home set up will be an advantage but not necessary.
- Individual must be a good team player.
- Able to serve those clients in need, regardless of race, nationality, religious or social status.
- Compassionate and able to relate well with the patients of the organization.
