Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Strategist with a strong background in healthcare marketing to lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand presence. This role involves strategic annual planning, market research, budget management, data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and brand positioning, all tailored to the unique dynamics and compliance requirements of the healthcare sector.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Annual Roadmap

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals and healthcare market trends
  • Define clear marketing objectives, KPIs, and success metrics tailored to healthcare audiences and regulatory frameworks
  • Conduct comprehensive market research including patient needs, competitor analysis, healthcare trends, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy
  • Develop detailed buyer personas and patient segmentation to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor marketing activities, healthcare industry developments, and regulatory changes that impact marketing strategy
  • Use research findings to anticipate market shifts and advise leadership on strategic adjustments

Budget Management & Resource Allocation

  • Plan, allocate, and oversee the marketing budget to maximize ROI while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Monitor marketing expenditures, negotiate with healthcare vendors and agencies, and optimize resource allocation
  • Provide regular budget forecasts and variance reports with actionable recommendations for management

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing performance relative to set KPIs
  • Analyze data (especially internal data) from campaigns, channels, and customer feedback to generate actionable insights and optimize marketing initiatives
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives and continuously improving through PDCA methodology
  • Present findings, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Manager Responsibility for the leading the marketing team, Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content Alignment

  • Proven experience managing the marketing team members
  • Collaborate closely with product development, sales, medical, compliance, and creative teams to ensure marketing strategies support product launches, patient engagement, and regulatory compliance
  • Guide the development of healthcare-specific marketing assets including brochures, case studies, presentations, and digital content to maintain brand consistency and messaging clarity
  • Foster alignment between marketing initiatives and broader business objectives across departments

Brand Development & Positioning

  • Define and maintain the healthcare brand voice and positioning, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and materials
  • Monitor healthcare market trends and competitor strategies to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Ensure all marketing communications adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 4-7 years of marketing strategy experience, preferably within healthcare, life sciences, or related sectors
  • Strong expertise in market research methodologies and competitive intelligence
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
  • Proven experience managing marketing budgets and vendor/agency relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare market dynamics, patient engagement, and compliance requirements
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms is a plus, especially for enhancing customer engagement and campaign tracking
