About the role

As a Demi Chef at JADE COMMERCIAL SERVICES', you will play a vital role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and delivery of high-quality culinary creations. This is a full-time position based in the Changi East Region of Singapore.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of diverse menu items
  2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
  3. Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure efficient and seamless meal service
  4. Participating in menu development and recipe experimentation
  5. Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
  6. Continuously developing your culinary skills and expertise

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, plating and presentation
  3. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  4. Keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  6. Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights and weekends as required
