Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Management L3 Consultant to provide advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting, and optimization for enterprise network infrastructure. The consultant will serve as the final escalation point for complex network issues, work closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure optimal performance, security, and resilience of our network operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex network issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
  • Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center networks.
  • Maintain and enhance network monitoring and management platforms (SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, HP IMC, etc.).
  • Collaborate with architecture teams to assess network requirements and propose solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and produce detailed post-incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, network standards, and industry best practices.
  • Lead or support network upgrade and migration projects, including hardware refreshes and topology changes.
  • Engage in capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing for network services.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years in network engineering/consulting, with at least 3 years in an L3 role.
  • Expert knowledge of routing & switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
  • Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
  • Proficiency with network management tools and monitoring platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation & scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to Zero Trust Network design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience in multinational enterprise or service provider environments.
