About the role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Graceful Decor Pte Ltd in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of various wood structures and products. This is a full-time role that will play a vital part in supporting our carpentry and cabinet-making operations.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to create high-quality wood products and structures
• Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood components
• Install and assemble cabinets, shelves, doors, windows, and other wood-based fixtures and fittings
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order
• Collaborate with the design team to provide input and recommendations on product design and construction
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and design specifications
• Strong practical skills in carpentry, including the use of power tools and hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers and customers
