Job Summary

To assist the Facilities Manager in the execution of facility repair/maintenance works, as well as implementation of improvement projects to enhance building infrastructure and environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Coordinate with contractors to ensure facility repair or maintenance tasks are effectively carried out

Liaise with internal Head of Department in planning and scheduling of facility related repair/maintenance tasks

Source and develop a pool of suitable/qualified contractors and suppliers to support maintenance and upgrading works

Collaborate with Safety and other internal departments to support EHS and other quality enhancement projects

Conduct inspections to monitor and inspect work progress and completion of sub-contracted works

Response to service requests with respect to facility breakdowns and follow up on fault reporting duties

Maintain and update equipment maintenance list to ensure timely preventive maintenance works are carried out for all M&E related systems and equipment

Assist Facility Manager to manage the Factory Converted Dormitory

Perform ad-hoc assignments as directed by Facility Manager

Requirements

Minimum ITE in Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or related fields. O Level with the right aptitude may also be considered.

Candidates with minimum 1 years of relevant experience in building/facilities servicing and maintenance work will have an added advantage.

Experience in vendor management and RFQ process

Class 3 driving licence is an advantage

Strong project and vendor management skills is necessary

Effective interpersonal skills and proactive

Able to work well in a team and independently with minimal supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
