Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- To hunt, identify and engage with potential customers, understanding their specific needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
- To develop long term customer relationships and work with customers on innovative and compelling supply chain solutions
- To grow the revenue and profit of CL business by securing new wins and increasing the size and quality of the targets
- Responsible to lead and manage RFQ responses for contract logistics.
- Maintain synergy with cross-functional relationships with the Solutions & engineering, Operations and IT team.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through contract logistics
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, aiming to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain or related fields
- Possess at least 7 years of business development/field sales experience, preferably in the APAC contract logistics market. Past APAC regional exposure will be advantageous.
- Willing to do occasional business travel to APAC countries when required
- Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record and display drive in meeting sales targets
