What the role is:
The Senior Manager, Partnership and Engagement, will play a crucial role in strengthening trust and collaboration between MOM and its key stakeholders, including employers, business associations, unions, workers, and community leaders. This involves regular engagements to promote understanding and garner support for MOM policies and programmes. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building and maintaining positive relationships, contributing to the overall success of MOM's mission.

• Identify strategic partnerships and collaborate cross functionally to assess potential partners (e.g. advocacy groups, NGOs, TACs) for MOM to engage

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of engagements with all stakeholders

• Monitor post-engagement metrics to assess the impact of MOM's engagements

• Partner stakeholders to increase awareness of MOM policies and programmes through engagements whilst ensuring that the engagements are within budget, scope and timeline requirements

• Identify opportunities to leverage stakeholder's activities and programmes to support MOM's engagement goals

• Co-develop projects with stakeholders to improve reach and impact of engagements

• Identify potential risks in partnership and engagement activities, and develop and implement risk mitigation plans to safeguard MOM's interests in engagements with stakeholders

• Able to manage crises and resolve issues independently

• Explore new engagement models and partnership approaches, continuously evaluating and enhancing existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of MOM's engagements

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline

• Meticulous in planning and organising events. 5 to 6 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and/or event management roles is preferred.

• Good written and communication skills

• Team player and able to work both independently and in small teams

• Initiative to experiment with new ways to deepen trust with stakeholders
