Job Summary:

A rapidly expanding division in Singapore, part of a leading tech consulting group in the APJ region, is seeking an accomplished professional to take the lead on strategic client engagement and growth within the government and public services sector. This leadership role involves managing high-value relationships and driving sustainable growth, while transforming transactional accounts into long-term strategic partnerships.

The selected candidate will take full ownership of selected key government-related accounts, managing business performance, developing new opportunities, and building strong executive-level relationships. This is a senior-level, visible role that demands strategic insight, leadership, and a strong drive to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts across high-profile public sector clients in Singapore, focusing on account expansion and new opportunity identification.

  • Take full responsibility for the financial performance and delivery across designated accounts, including revenue targets, profitability, and forecasting.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-border teams in a matrixed structure.

  • Oversee operational performance, including pipeline health, delivery excellence, and cost management strategies.

  • Represent the business in public sector forums and industry events to build visibility and credibility.

  • Collaborate closely with internal service leaders and technology experts to craft solutions aligned with client needs.

  • Work in partnership with alliance and ecosystem partners to jointly pursue strategic opportunities.

  • Champion a culture of knowledge sharing by contributing insights, best practices, and lessons learned from engagements.

  • Stay flexible and solution-focused when navigating complex client requirements, negotiations, and deal cycles.

Ideal Profile:

  • Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

  • 15+ years of client-facing experience in consulting, technology services, or enterprise account management.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale P&Ls and performance metrics at the account level.

  • Strong background in engaging with Singapore's government sector, including familiarity with procurement frameworks and tendering processes.

  • Solid experience in specific public sector domains such as finance, healthcare, or infrastructure is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value pursuits ($50M+), particularly in a services-led environment.

  • Deep understanding of the Singapore market across government and technology ecosystems.

  • Comfortable operating in a global, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, commercial negotiation, and influencing decision-makers.

  • Experience working in hybrid delivery models involving offshore and onsite teams.

  • Strong communicator with strategic foresight and the ability to align execution with long-term objectives.

  • Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to guide diverse teams toward common goals across geographies and cultures.
