Responsibilities
  • Carry out production, service, repair, installation, FAT, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials, and inspection of customer-supplied products.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in compliance with ISO requirements such as Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement, and Permit to Work procedures.
  • Requisition key equipment and materials for projects.
  • Liaise with customers on installation needs, including hot work, welding, carpentry, and cable installation.
  • Update managers on additional customer requirements.
  • Ensure work meets acceptance criteria based on technical and installation manuals.
  • Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and documents for customer technical specifications.
  • Support the development of a complete field support process for all products.
  • Identify and document quality issues related to products or services.
  • Handle and operate inspection, measuring, and test equipment responsibly.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by managers and engineers.

Requirements
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge in computers, electronics, and telecommunication systems.
  • Experience in marine electronics or the offshore industry is an advantage.
  • Open to candidates from other engineering fields seeking a career switch into marine or naval engineering, with training provided.

Salary Range:

  • Service Technician: $2,900 – $3,500
  • Service Engineer: $3,900 – $4,500
