What you will be working on

• Assist in the planning of the contracts master workplan for Infra Division
• Assist section in the drafting, revision and review of Infra's contacts
• Ensure Infra's internal contract documents are accurate and well-maintained
• Provide advice and guidance to the Infra teams and stakeholders relating to the contract preparation and crafting for Infra projects and works
• Assis in preparation of tender documents and quantities, providing cost estimation, securing budget, evaluating tender proposals and managing cost information for all Infra contracts (both maintenance and projects)
• Assist in the development and implementation of contracts management policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Facilitate certification of payments in relation to the contracts
• Research and communicate development on regulatory issues and ensuring that they are addressed accordingly in Infra's contracts
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and devise plans to do so
• Assist in the management of Infra's fixed asset records in the internal platforms & databases
• Assist in the upkeep of the Dept's fixed asset records in the WoG platform,
• Provide advice and guidance to the Infra team and FAO/FAAOs from the other Commands relating to fixed asset matters
• Facilitate and participate in the annual fixed asset stocktaking exercise for Infra

What we are looking for

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in procurement and contracts, preferably with some experience/exposure in facility management or construction
• Contract management and/or Contract Law Knowledge
• Experience / knowledge in fixed asset management and government process will be preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Good report writing skills and good command of English. Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members, stakeholders and contractors
• Possess resourcefulness, meticulousness, strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple contracts with shifting deadlines
