Responsibilities
Team Introduction: High ethical standards and a culture of integrity will play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of the Ethics Office. The Ethics Office was created to guide ethical leadership and decision making; develop, educate, and raise awareness of internal policies; and lead and manage investigations. Our Ethics Office is looking for a high-performing professional based in Singapore, with proven experience delivering results in complex business environments and supporting global initiatives.
Responsibilities: Main responsibilities would include: (i) administrating and monitoring the company's speak up hotline and internal investigation case management system; (ii) improving governance of ethics and compliance policies and systems;
(iii) alignment of standards across China and Rest-of-World investigation teams; and (iv) co-ordinating and preparing materials for leadership reporting. This includes:
- In response to needs of the function and businesses, perform data analyses and prepare data reports in a timely manner; continually enhance operations around such report preparation.
- Work with audit and/or other risk functions to manage and execute risk assessments relating to policies and investigations, including resolution of discovered issues and developing risk mitigating strategies.
- Review and update global ethics and compliance policies and SOPs.
- Monitoring the internal investigation case management system, and having the expertise to accurately and efficiently triage the allegations received to the appropriate investigation team in the company for prompt management.
- Working with cross-functional departments on the remediation actions/processes discovered during the investigation process.
- Data owner to all employee data in the custody of the Ethics Office, including system access management and maintenance.
- Perform analysis and checks on extracted data.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of work experience in a governance, risk, or compliance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret complex information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, data consolidation, and visualization through charts and graphs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across international teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in legal, audit, or compliance.
- Familiarity with whistleblowing case management tools such as Navex or similar industry platforms.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred to engage with Chinese stakeholders based in Chinese-speaking markets and the need to review documents in Mandarin.
