Cloudera Cloud Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Cloudera Cloud Integration Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize hybrid Cloudera Data Platform (CDP/CDH) environments integrated with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role focuses on data migration, automation, and performance tuning across on-prem and cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and migrate Cloudera/Hadoop clusters to cloud services (AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, GCP Dataproc).

  • Configure and manage HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and YARN in hybrid environments.

  • Design and implement secure data transfer, replication, and backup strategies between on-prem and cloud storage (S3, ADLS, GCS).

  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring using Jenkins, Terraform, and scripting (Shell/Python).

  • Ensure security, compliance, and high availability across distributed data platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Cloudera CDP/CDH administration and cloud integration.

  • Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP (EMR, S3, IAM, VPC, networking).

  • Proficiency in Linux, scripting, and CI/CD tools.

  • Knowledge of Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, and cluster monitoring tools.

Certifications Required:

  • Cloudera Essentials for CDP

  • AWS Fundamentals for CDP Public Cloud (Cloudera)
