Job Summary:

As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services team, the Network Administrator will play a key role in managing, supporting, and maintaining network infrastructure across a global footprint of 600+ remote locations in Europe, Asia, the US, Latin America, and Canada. This role involves both operational support and project-based work, contributing to the deployment and lifecycle management of network and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support existing and new network infrastructure and security solutions in accordance with support processes.
  • Build, deploy, and administer/manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services (e.g., NLB).
  • Provide senior-level operational support for:

  • Troubleshooting, incident resolution, and problem management.

  • Reporting on activity, performance, and quality of network platforms and security solutions.
  • Documentation of procedures and support materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of new network and security infrastructure components.
  • Ensure stability, responsiveness, and lifecycle consistency across network platforms and security solutions.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the evaluation and qualification of new network and security solutions.
  • Provide expert recommendations to senior technical teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Preferably CCNP certified.
  • Strong experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in routing protocols (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Knowledge of LAN technologies (VRRP, VSS, STP).
  • Understanding of QoS mechanisms.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi controllers and access points.
  • Load Balancer administration (Citrix NetScaler).
  • Security administration with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Pulse remote access, and reverse proxy.
  • Preferably Palo Alto certified.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with infrastructure solutions (servers, storage).
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework.
  • Experience with WAN compression and optimization appliances (Riverbed).
  • Telephony and voice infrastructure administration (primarily Cisco).

Behavioral & Professional Competencies:

  • 3–7 years of experience in infrastructure, with 3–5 years specifically in network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco network products, Palo Alto, and Riverbed.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English (French reading ability is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Cisco networking and telephony products.
  • Citrix NetScaler (NLB and reverse proxy).
  • Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Panorama Central Management.
  • Infoblox DNS.
  • Riverbed WAN optimization and NetFlow (Cascade).
  • SolarWinds monitoring.
  • CA Service Desk Manager (ticketing and CMDB).
  • SD-WAN (Velocloud).
