Job Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for all activities of FIJI Water & Wines from planning to executing distribution growth in Asia assigned markets. This person will work with the senior leaders of FIJI Water to carefully analyze then choose the option that maximizes long term volume and profits for the company. The RSM will carefully plan all strategic initiatives with the FIJI Water Logistics, Finance, and Marketing teams. This person will lead the execution of the plan with direct responsibility for in country logistics, gain distribution at major customers, ensure appropriate promotions/merchandising activities, manage volume forecasting, and report business results on a regular cadence.
What you will be doing:
Some of your key responsibilities will be to develop a clear and measurable monthly volume and distribution plan to achieve overall FIJI Water objectives by channel, as well as:
- Gaining buy-in from assigned distributors.
- Securing monthly programs and expand distribution in all channels of trade by setting benchmarks and calling on accounts both independently and with distributor personnel.
- Developing and implementing regional programs to achieve objectives, as well as monitoring and measuring results through monthly sales reports.
- Maintaining a trade level call point program to ensure FIJI Water products are receiving the appropriate attention, as well as identifying and resolving any customer concerns.
- Developing objectives by account and maintaining strong customer relationships at all levels to maximize opportunities for expanded distribution.
- Developing and implementing sales presentations to secure new accounts.
- Analyzing monthly sales reports to identify opportunities, underperforming accounts or potential loss of distribution,
- Ability to identify, manage and participate in Special Events to include working nights and weekends when necessary.
- Ensuring all warehouses have an ample supply of all SKUs to cover monthly/weekly sales objectives.
- Managing the use of POS, wearables and all other resources to achieve objectives.
- Controlling costs and seeking opportunities to increase overall revenue on a per case basis.
- Inspecting billbacks for accuracy and forwarding approved invoices with back up to Senior Management.
- Conducting product training for new accounts and waitstaff.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc projects when required.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in CPG (consumer packaged goods), beverage, FMCG or luxury goods companies.
- A solid understanding of sales and distributor functions, business development, trade marketing.
- The ability to speak and write in multiple languages will be considered a plus – particularly Japanese, Korean, Malay, Thai or Khmer.
- South East Asia experience a plus.
- A BA/BS in related field (Finance, Business, or Marketing).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- An ability to think strategically and also execute with excellence.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
This role will require up to 20% travel internationally and will be based in our Singapore office. You will have the right to live and work in Singapore at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
