Electrical Drafter (Cranes & Lifting Equipment)

Location: Tuas Crescent (EW31), ~8-min walk, Singapore

Employment Type: Full-time (5.5-day week)

Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm; Sat 8:00am–1:00pm

Rest Days: 6 days/month

Salary: S$2,800–3,000/month (basic)

Benefits: Annual Leave 14 days · Sick Leave 14 days

Work Pass: WP sponsorship may be considered (subject to quota & MOM approval)

About the Role

Produce electrical drawings for crane/hoist systems and support production/commissioning. You'll report to the Production Manager and receive guidance/training from the department's technical lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams and panel/layout drawings in AutoCAD
  • Convert wiring information into clear electrical layout and terminal plans
  • Prepare/update BOM, drawing registers and as-built documentation; manage revisions
  • Ensure drawings comply with internal standards and applicable codes
  • Coordinate with production/technicians and suppliers on technical clarifications
  • Provide basic drafting support for installation/commissioning when required

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics (or related)
  • Proficient with AutoCAD for electrical drafting
  • Foundation in motor control circuits / electrical drafting or related field
  • Able to read electrical symbols/standards; basic MS Office for documentation
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to follow SOPs and safety requirements
  • Experience in cranes/industrial automation is a plus; training provided for suitable candidates

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN, panel layout, or site measurement

Work Authorisation & Commute

Role is on-site in Singapore. Candidates currently in Singapore or able to commute daily from Malaysia are welcome.
