Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings

Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to Gen-AI deployment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the use of Gen-AI

Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to business leaders and project teams on the appropriate application of Gen-AI, including considerations around AI literacy and prompt engineering

Monitor the evolving landscape of Gen-AI technologies, regulations, and industry trends, and recommend strategic initiatives to maintain DBS Bank's position as a leader in responsible AI governance

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the AI literacy of DBS Bank employees, empowering them to effectively leverage Gen-AI tools and techniques

Represent DBS Bank in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and external collaborations related to Gen-AI governance and responsible AI practices

Requirements

Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles and applications

Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior role within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on technology governance, risk management, or compliance

Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks, including the ability to navigate complex regulatory and ethical considerations

Proficient in prompt engineering techniques and the ability to assess the quality, bias, and potential risks of Gen-AI outputs

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address emerging challenges in the Gen-AI landscape

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change in a complex, regulated environment
