Job Scope

  • Oversee the procurement and sourcing of technical equipment, materials, and services for our semiconductor manufacturing division
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any courses related to mechanical drawing
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a technical procurement role, preferably within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment, materials, and industry regulations
  • Experience in procuring fabrication parts and sheet-metal is a plus.
  • Proven track record in negotiating favourable contracts and managing supplier relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools to streamline processes
