programs — from prototype to stable mass production — across both
automated manufacturing equipment
and
non-automated product industrialization
. You will orchestrate specifications, schedules, suppliers, and on-site execution (FAT/SAT, pilot builds, commissioning, and production ramp-up) while working closely with global customers and cross-regional engineering teams in Singapore, Malaysia, China, and India.
What you will do

- Partner with supply chain and purchasing teams to secure critical components, tooling, and automation assets across APAC.
- Oversee FAT/SAT protocols, pilot-line validation, and site commissioning; coordinate customer buy-offs and operator training.
- Ensure robust documentation (URS/SRS, drawings, version control, ECR/ECO, control plans) and seamless handover to operations.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
. - Minimum 5 years' experience leading
NPI or automation projects
in manufacturing environments (medical devices, electronics, or industrial systems preferred). - Proven track record managing
DFM/DFT, tooling, pilot builds, and production ramp-up
with suppliers in Asia. - Strong project management capabilities (Agile, Waterfall) and proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Hands-on understanding of automation and control systems (PLCs, vision, motion), as well as manual and semi-automated assembly lines.
- Excellent English communication with global customers and cross-functional teams; Mandarin/Chinese is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to
travel frequently between Singapore, Johor Bahru, China, and India
during key project phases
Nice to have
- PMP (or equivalent) certification; Six Sigma, 8D, or FTA familiarity.
- Experience with FAT/SAT, line validation, and volume ramp-up in high-mix or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, CE/UL compliance, or EHS best practices.
