Role Overview

We are looking for a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
with strong manufacturing experience to lead the design and industrialization of finished goods. You will be responsible for transforming product concepts into robust, high-quality designs ready for production, ensuring manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical assemblies for finished products across
    medical and consumer electronics
    sectors.
  • Lead DFM/DFX reviews and ensure design readiness for tooling and mass production.
  • Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers on part feasibility, tooling, and assembly optimization.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis, component validation, and prototype testing.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, BOMs, and change control files.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, industrial design, and QA) to deliver complete and compliant products.
  • Support NPI and pilot builds at supplier sites and provide technical input during production ramp-up.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for both clients and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years
    of experience in product design and manufacturing, ideally with exposure to both medical devices and consumer electronics.
  • Strong command of
    DFM, injection molding, die casting, CNC, and assembly processes
    .
  • Proven experience in managing supplier communications and manufacturing handover.
  • Excellent 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Strong understanding of materials, tolerancing, and production validation methods.
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Good communication skills in
    English
    (Mandarin is an advantage for supplier communication).
