The Sensors Division undertakes research and development in a wide range of sensor technologies, including radar, acoustics, electro-optics and underwater, to provide the SAF with a recognised battlefield situation picture.

Mechanical R&D Engineer (Underwater Systems)

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop and fabricate mechanical systems to meet functional, thermal and environmental specifications
- Work with a cross-functional team to integrate and test underwater systems in laboratory and sea trials
- Generate design reports and technical document, detailing design requirement, considerations, analysis, test plan and results

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in CAD software for 3D model design and fabrication drawing
- Good mechanical engineering knowledge and fluent in FEA simulation
- Practical experience in handling, assembling and testing mechanical systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
