The Account Executive will join our growing team and will help to identify potential client opportunities and generate new business. In this role, you will nurture and grow our relationship with customers by owning accounts and delivering exceptional performance and service.
The revenue team at Octopus Deploy To help our teams work together effectively, this remote position requires you to be located in Singapore. What You'll Do
- Working closely with the broader team to ensure pipeline generation
- Spearhead our business growth by leveraging a diverse range of tools and strategies to actively prospect and cultivate new business pipelines
- Developing and managing sales pipeline & accurate forecast through the CRM system.
- Building multi-threaded strategic relationships within assigned accounts
- Serving as key client contact for customers and coordinating resources to support pre & post-sale experience, professional services, and technical account team
- Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products.
- Developing and presenting executive-level presentations to new and existing customers.

- Independently drive and enjoy high level of customer facing activity
- Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills, motivated, driven and results-oriented.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Have at least 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in the Enterprise space and DevOps.
- Know the local industry and can demonstrate software sales experience, both directly and through partner ecosystem.
- Understand modern software development lifecycle, phases and key technologies.
- Have experience managing both existing and new customers.
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and partners.
- Can demonstrate a track record of quota attainment.
- Have a strong business development background and experience in opening new logos.
- Experience with MEDDPICC, SalesForce, and storytelling techniques to solve customer problems.
Level 4 (Enterprise AE) Maturing: $169,000 SGD + variable (OTE $337,750 SGD) & stock options Performing: $183,000 SGD annual + variable (OTE $365,250 SGD) & stock options

Interview Process Below is the interview process you can expect for this role. We know interviewing can seem daunting, but rest assured we designed our interview process to move quickly while still getting you all the information you need.
Initial chat [30 min] Talent acquisition screen: Meet with your Talent Acquisition team and get a feel for what it would be like to be an Octonaut
Hiring manager chat [45–60 min] Hiring manager chat: Designated time to chat with the hiring manager. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other. You should expect the hiring manager to ask questions about your professional background and goals. We welcome any questions you may have for us
Panel interview [60–90 min] Panel evaluation: In this panel interview, you meet cross-functional team members. You can expect a mix of leaders and individual contributors to join the chat. By the end of this call, you should have a great idea of what it's like to work at Octopus. We should also have a great idea of what it would be like to have you on the team We'll ask any final questions and encourage you to do the same.
In Person Evaluation [60 min] In person evaluation: This final step is an opportunity to connect face-to-face with 1–2 members of the Octopus Deploy team. It's a chance for both sides to get a real feel for what it's like to work together and ensure alignment in values, motivation, and ways of working. During this session, we'll explore what drives you day to day, how you collaborate, and what kind of environment helps you do your best work. It's also your time to ask any remaining questions and get a clear sense of what life at Octopus is really like. By the end of this conversation, both you and the team should have a confident sense of whether Octopus feels like the right long-term fit.
