Job Description for:

·       F&B Front of House Team Member

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service & Interaction

  • Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers with seating, menu questions, and service-related inquiries.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure customer needs are met promptly and courteously throughout their visit.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary.

2. Order Management & Cash Handling

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
  • Process transactions, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
  • Ensure accurate billing and change handling in compliance with company procedures.

3. Dining Area Management

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house areas, including tables, counters, and service stations.
  • Monitor table turnover and coordinate with back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Set up and break down the dining area, including refilling condiments and resetting tables.

4. Team Support

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and back-of-house teams to relay orders and requests.
  • Assist in coordinating large groups, takeout orders, or special seating arrangements.
  • Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure timely service and operational efficiency.

5. Safety & Hygiene

  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including hygiene protocols for FOH areas.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front of house or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using reservation and point-of-sale systems.
